Weird bumps on my tongue and sore throat?
-
I had the flu a few weeks ago. For the most part, I'm over it, but my nose is still a little runny and my throat has been sore. Tonight I noticed that the back of my tongue seemed kinda nasty, like I hadn't been brushing it good or something. I also noticed a few red bumps. They seem kind of hard, but they're too small to say if they're "hard." They aren't super small, though. They're big enough bumps to where it seems strange that they're there. Could my STILL sore throat and these bumps be related? FYI---I'm not sexually active, I haven't shared a drink/food with anyone lately, and I don't smoke. Any ideas as to what this is or if it's anything?

Answer:
After effects of the flu or the virus you had. If your throat continues to be sore and yu still have the bumps see your doc you may need antibiotics to knock off this spawn of the flu/virus. Did you see your doc when you first got sick or did you just let it run its course?
