Answer:
I agree with you Swine Flu is like the regular Flu except that it is more chest related like flem. People say that a lot of people are dying but know your facts only 20 people have died from it in Mexico. Plus they recorded like 10 people with it in the U.S. some I think in Texas. They are worried because they don't want to get sick.

AMEN!
You are being really ignorant. It is killing many people and is extremely hard to find a cure.
Cuz people are DYING!!
The swine flu virus is perhaps the trickiest known to medical science; it constantly changes form to elude the protective antibodies that the body has developed in response to previous exposures to influenza or to influenza vaccines. Every two or three years the virus undergoes minor changes. Then, at intervals of roughly a decade, after the bulk of the world's population has developed some level of resistance to these minor changes, it undergoes a major shift that enables it to tear off on yet another pandemic sweep around the world, infecting hundreds of millions of people who suddenly find their antibody defenses outflanked. Even during the Spanish flu pandemic, the initial wave of the disease was relatively mild, while the second wave was highly lethal
It is sweeps time for the television industry. If they get more people to watch their channels right now they can charge more for advertising time on their channel. So if there is something they can make sound important you will watch. The truth about swine flu is that it is LESS deadly than the seasonal flu that kills 36,000 people in the US (and 500,000 worldwide) every year (and has already claimed about 4,000 here since Jan. 1). The deaths in Mexico were inflated. They found today that it was not 156 killed by swine flu - but 7. That's right SEVEN! The panic caused everyone to assume that if someone died, it must've been swine flu. It is a new strain of flu however, so no one is walking around right now with any strong immunity to it, so more people are susceptible to it. It is likely to be "caught" by more people but is less virulent (deadly) than the regular flu. Only those with weak immune systems, children and the elderly, have any real potential for serious illness. Below is a link to WebMD's page on swine flu. Remember SARS and the bird flu, they were all going to kill so many people, they didn't, comparatively.
