Does swine flu spread through swimming?

Swine flu spreads like the seasonal flu. If someone is contagious, you can get it if they cough on you or you exchange saliva. Swimming pools has chlorine in them so most likely it's okay to swim. However, it isn't guaranteed that you won't get it just because the water is treated for germs and bacteria. Most likely if someone has swine flu then they won't feel well enough to swim while they are contagious. If swimming was a huge issue, the topic would have been discussed by the CDC. Yes...the viruses come in contact with the water and then spread. If a sick person sneezes, then small saliva or nose secretion particles fly into the water. And contaminate it. Swine flu, as far as I know is not as dangerous as normal flu, that comes every winter or autumn or spring. It's just spread more and that's why it's called a world wide epidemic. People die from colds and normal flue more than from swine flu. The mortality seems bigger in this case just cause of its large spread If you do catch a flu(even swine one) threat it and medicate yourself properly after seeing the doctor and don't get severe complications
