Will the Swine Flu spread through Britain?

  • I thought it would be unlikely to get here, but now that there are at least two people with Swine Flu, how likely is it that the virus will spread across Britain?

    Not a chance. Do you know how many million people live in the UK? More chance of winning the lottery I expect than catching flu! News journalists love scaremongering, it's how they make money.

I wish the media would stop making it worse! It's annoying me now, it's just like with bird flu and we have heard nothing of that since, have we? Health care in many parts of Mexico are no way near as good as ours. But obviously I will not say it is impossible that it will spread. Lets just hope it is a major overreaction like with bird flu.

OH GOD OH GOD PANDEMIC FREAK THE **** OUT! No but with all seriousness, as long as it is quarantined, everything should be fine. Avoid hospitals, largely public places, and pork/pigs for a while. If it DOES begin to spread unchecked, move further away from large population centers.
