next time use protection....when I was overseas in the Navy there were guys coming down with some really bad VD. The doctor said it was almost incurable. A lot of guys in my division came down with VD, I guess no one was using condoms. And getting those shots in the butt were no fun I'm told, but I guess there are pills to take. I read some intresting stuff many years ago about VD & Aids. Seems you are more in danger of getting AIDs if your have VD because a STD weakens your body's immune system. be smart and protect yourself.

As someone said, get tested. AIDs is an STD. The others can be cured, AIDs can only be treated. Not to mention the possibility of pregnancy. If you're going to play, play safe.

I'd like to start by saying that there are REASONS people always tell you to (a) not sleep around (b) use protection or (c) stay abstinent. They're not trying to kill your good time. It's because of the reality of STDs(which you might now have by the way!!!) and teen pregnancy! "VD" can be any number of STDs. And I'm not trying to scare you...well, actually, scratch that, I am because this is serious...but, they can KILL. I would go to the doctor IMMEDIATELY to get tested. Also, I'm pretty sure its illegal, in some cases (I think it depends on the STD), for a person to sleep with someone and not inform him or her of their STD. So you should keep up with the jerk's contact info and look into that as well. I really hope for the best for you. I hope you don't have an STD. But really, I'm hoping this just makes you more smart about safe, RESPONSIBLE sex.

A sexually transmitted disease (STD), also known as sexually transmitted infection (STI) or venereal disease (VD), is an illness that has a significant probability of transmission between humans or animals by means of human sexual behavior, including vaginal intercourse, oral sex, and anal sex. While in the past, these illnesses have mostly been referred to as STDs or VD, in recent years the term sexually transmitted infection (STI) has been preferred, as it has a broader range of meaning; a person may be infected, and may potentially infect others, without showing signs of disease. Some STIs can also be transmitted via the use of IV drug needles after its use by an infected person, as well as through childbirth or breastfeeding. Sexually transmitted infections have been well known for hundreds of years. What should you do?? GO TO THE DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY AND SEEK TREATMENT! Go to the page listed in source for more information. Good luck...I hope this helps.

This could be anything from gonorrhea to syphillis - you need to be tested. You can also go to WebMd.com and type in venereal diseases and read up on these and what implication they will have on your body if you don't get them treated. If you used protection, you wouldn't be worrying about this ever.

THE TERM, V.D., stands for venereal disease or diseases. They are very dangerous and crippling. There are several venereal diseases, but the most common of them are syphilis and gono
