Why is heat stroke more dangerous than heat exhaustion?

Heat stroke / Heat exhaustion question..... (Please help!!)?

  • I was at work today in Deleware, and where i was the tempature was 102 with a 110+ heat index... I was working for about 5 hours when I started to get very dizzy, and my fingers and hands started tingling... I couldn't breath well, and my body started to cramp up.. There was a doctors office right next door and i went in there and they called the ambulance immediately where i was taking to the hospital and treated for dehydration, and heat exhaustion.... My question is.... will workmans comp cover that? I've been told by friends it should, but I just want to make sure.... Thanks!

  • Answer:

I think you have just had a visit from the grim reaper. You need to change your life style fast or you may not make it next time. Heat is a horrible thing but the dehydration and heat exhaustion are caused by life style issue's your smoking and drinking alcohol. You do not want to know about it you only want to know who's going to pay. Your kids your partner your friends and your family will pay if you don't heed the warning and memories mean more than money.. You did it at work they removed you from your work place in an Ambulance work care will pay I don't know about the ambulance. good luck
