What causes inflammation of the heart?

Is this more than just a heart mur mur?

• 15 y/o, 95 pounds, 4'9. I was diagnosed with a simple heart murmur around November last year. I have been seeing the doctors lately, but it seems to be getting worse. I do not have asthma. Although, it's hard to breathe. I do have chest inflammation. Let's get to the point-- Lately, my heart has been stinging. Not the usual "heart mur mur" feeling, but really stinging. It feels as if a sharp pain is constantly jabbing at it. This does last for more than 20 seconds. I can't laugh often or it would hurt. It's more of an inhale process that causes the pain.. Every doctor tells me the same thing, "It will go away soon." "It's nothing serious." But it really hurts. I'm young and I don't think I should be going through this pain, and getting the same responses. I have gotten an ultra sound back in February. It came back with no defects.. I also have been having some soreness around the breast bone, underarms, and jaw area. I don't know if that is any help, but please.. If you know what else could be wrong, answer..

  A heart murmur by definition is a sound (noise) it might be a squisher then normal kinda thing when a valve goes to close but stays a little open and forces a little blood Back through the valve when its supposed to stop that. or it might be a hole between chambers which allows the same sorta blood flow when it shouldn't some people describe them as sounding sorta like a washing machine through a stethoscope..generally pain would be associated with problems like not getting enough oxygenated blood > making you have real trouble breathing and sharp heart attack like pain because the muscles don't get what they need.... I frankly find it strange they just found this and tell you in the same breath you will outgrow it .... what country are you living in?
