Difference between heart transplant surgeon and heart surgeon?

  • i am basically asking, does a 'hear surgeon' do heart transplants, or is there a specific branch of heart surgeons that specialize in transplants? also what is the main difference between heart surgeon and cardiothoraic surgeons? (as in operations) thank you for your time

    im not a doctor, but heart transplant is VERY different from heart surgery, and the difference is kinda self explanatory..
