Can physical activity, stress be actually detrimental to your heart?

Why do i always have heart attack symptoms at home?

  • i have had 2 -3 episodes of jaw pain arm pain and pain in my chest. all these happened at home . my heart never hurt when i am outside walking or doing a physical activity . Also, can something you read about happen to you? like first i only had the pain in my chest, then when i found out that heart attack also include jaw and arm back pain i began to notice the symptoms on me ( or imagining them because i read it??????) i went to the doc 3 months ago and he said its stress and anxiety, he listened to my heart beat and said its normal. will your heart beat change after you have a heart attack? like maybe i had one but my heart beat went back to normal by the time i went to the doc ( next day)??? i began to wish that i can actually die from the heart attack to get it over with !!! am almost 22 obese , under stress and my grandma died of heat attack . i just noticed that all the symptoms happen at home and only home , why is that?

  • Answer:

This is a form of hysterical neurosis and is indeed a response to stress and anxiety. Your grandma died of a heart attack, so that is in your thoughts and because you are obese you fear that it may happen to you. Perhaps you feel more stressed at home and have other things to occupy your mind when you are out of the house. rather than resorting to medicines, a positive approach would be to try to lose a little weight and take some exercise. Above all - STOP reading medical symptoms!
