Why have I had sudden heart rate increase?

Sudden increase in heart rate upto 230BPM?

  • So, yesterday i was studying for my exams when suddenly i realized that its becoming a little difficult to respire and my heart beat is thumping very high. For about 5 mins i tried to control it by drinking water and roaming, but it had no effect. Finally i rushed to my doctor and as soon as i reached the hospital it was nearly calm. So the doctor checked my BP and heart rate and came to the conclusion that its just some stress, and prescribed a tablet. But, right now am feeling a little uncomfortable on my left side of chest. What should be the issue?? Am i in some trouble?? I am right now 19 years old. Please help i am very scared.

  • Answer:

your heart beat is too much , we call it tachycardia in medical term . you need to consult a cardiologist .
