Why do your eyes get red when you're tired?

I get tired eyes is this related to diabetes?

  • i get a tired brain and eyes. Im not sure if i am a diabetic but yesterday when i measured my blood sugar levels (using my mums kit) i got a value of 7mmol (not sure what the units are here). Also i always feel tired and have no energy. i remember i year ago i had a lot of energy in comparison. oh yeah im 21 and both my parents have diabetes. thanks

    There are so many different reasons why you may feel the way you do. The only real way to find out if you are diabetic is to get a simple blood test at your doctor.

I don't think your problems are related to diabetes. 1. Are you eating healthy foods? Fresh fruits and vegetables keep your eyes and brain fresh (try carrot, apple and aloe vera juice or orange or other agrumes juices); start a healthy diet and you'll see how fresh you'd feel. 2. Are you sportive enough? If you do not exercise and stay sitting whole day, that will cause your brain and eyes get tired. Go out walking, jogging, or just breathing fresh and vivid (flowers or grass) air; you'll see the difference. 3. Are you staying all day long in front of computer, talking to your "internet-social" friends? If it that, try to adjust your time-table; do not consume yourself in front of computer. 4. What kind of lifestyle you are conducting? Too much parties or sex or what? Keep in mind that everything that comes in "too much" will cause your brain and eyes and your entire body being tired all the time; unless you have any other disease such as STDs or something like that. Think it over what you are doing and you'll be the doctor yourself (and find the right solution).

According to the expect, one can have tired eyes due to a lots of factors.but the major contributor to this is stress. maening when the body is exhausted so also is the eyes. orther factors are aging,diet,lifstle and pollution in theenvironment. How ever,you can get rid of unwanted tired eyes. follow these steps for solutions: 1.cut cold cucumber and potatoes and place it on your eyes, let the slice stay on your eyes for 10minites or 15minites. 2. you can also use spoon.place it in the refrigerator for about 1hour and then place it on your eyes.it will help your eyes rest and appears less puffy. 3.take fruits and vegetables often because they serve as a good sources of vitamins and minerals that are very good for the eyes 4.leave a day for yourself in a week to do exercises exponentially in the area of your hobbies. 5.stop facing computer or televisions a whole day.
