Serious question about diabetes?

Please answer this diabetes question?

• I don't really know why but since I heard that that there is 1 person in my family with diabetes 2 (my grandad) i have really been stressing about it. I'm not overweight and I've never been. I'm 14 years old. I've done a blood sugar test once in the morning before breakfast and the doctor said it was fine. But I realy want a clear answer to this question because I've read about every website on diabetes but all websites have different ideas. Let's say you have the genes for type 2 Diabetes. Can too much carbs trigger it? If yes, then what's better to do, spread carbs over the day or divide them in 3 meals? Because I hear different stories, for example I read that too much carbs at once can trigger diabetes because there is suddenly a huge amount of blood sugar, but I also read that if you would eat 5-6 small meals, your pancreas has to produce insulin all day long and wears out.

  you have a slightly higher chance of getting type 2 diabetes but it doesn't mean you will definitely get it. if your not overweight then this brings down the risk significantly. eating too much carbs in no way would trigger it. type 2 diabetes usually affects over weight and older people so dont think you would have anything to worry about. If everybody became diabetic just because someon in there family has it most people in the world would have it. also the human pancreas does make insulin all day long so in no way would it wear out.
