Which air purifier is the best to buy?

Whats the best air purifier to buy that WORKS good and is less than 100$?

  • i have a ferret and a rabbit in my small room and i really need an air purifier that can help with the smell. does anyone know of a good one to buy? does anyone have lots of pets and use an air purifier? i just need my room to smell better! i dont have alot of money and im hopeing to buy one under 100$ but if the ones at that price dont work well, then i'd rather just not buy one. please help me!

    Air purifiers are not effective at removing odors that are not caused by dust or other particles suspended in the air. Activated charcoal air filters eliminate many odors, but they all cost much more than $100, and the replacement filters run in the $30- $50 range. The cheapest thing that might actually work is the Odor Tamers by Zoomed - these are activated charcoal liners to put in the cages.
