How do you take away allergies?

If i take more vitamin d will my cherry and watermelon allergies go away?

  • they are my two favorite fruits!!! and just recently I have developed an allergic reaction to cherries (just this year) it's not as severe as someone with peanut allergies, but my throat gets itchy and now my nose gets runny, and with watermelon the allergy started last year :( with watermelon my throat gets itchy and it feels like some of the watermelon is stuck in my esophagus. i love these fruits!! i was reading up on vitamins and was wondering could vitamin D help these go away, because i'm pretty sure they're low i haven't gotten it checked but i have a strong feeling it will be and what other things besides those allergy shots could help?

Vitamin D is not supposed to help allergies; it is vitamin C and B complex. Do you also have pollen allergies? What you have sounds like oral allergy syndrome; which is related to pollen allergies. I used to be allergic to watermelon and nearly all other raw fruits and vegetables. I went to an allergist and had desensitization shots for my pollen allergies. After being on the shots for five years, my allergy to watermelon and other raw foods went away!
