I just got over a cold or allergies.

I have bad allergies and just got a dog..help!?

• I am allergic to dogs but decided to get one anyway. I bought Claritin Clear 24 hour non drowsy relief and it works great during the day. I play with her all day long and I have hardly any symptoms. Then at night time, early mornings when i am still awake i feel absolutely terrible. Nose completely stuffed, eyes are red and itchy and i just can't breathe. I cant get a good nights sleep like this...The medicine must start to wear off and doesnt last the full 24 hours. Can i take a nose spray along with my claritin so i can breath through the night until morning when i can take another claritin? Is there any tricks to making my bedroom not smell like dog dander? We bought her a "shedzilla" its like a brush that cuts off her undercoat so she doesnt shed as much. Any tricks to get around my stupid allergies would be appreciated :] thank you!

  YOU COULD KEEP THE DOG OUTSIDE. that way you could cut down on the dander in your home. make him / her a cute air condition doggie home. that way when you do play , walk or feed him you can easily get rid of lingering dander by bathing and washing clothing. vacuum vacuum vacuum no carpet in the house and keep dog off of furniture and beds. use the super strenght maxiumum air filter in your home, they have more expesive special light ones that can be installed for a fortune that are hospital grade.
