without much description of your jaw its hard to find cause.so drug might help u for pain. bt as u mention about your blocked nose it might be an infection,so due to that ur ear ventilation might be compromised from inside of nasal cavity. which may lead to Barotruma to your eardrum. to prevent that u have to keep swallowing periodically during ur flight especially during take off n landing. also try not to fall asleep during alltitude change or pressure change bcoz during sleep rate of salivation n therefore swallowing decreases. for that u can us chewing gum or mint or other chocolate.
