What are food allergies and their effects?

Cures for food allergies that cause acne?

  • I have food allergies to wheat, corn, soy, and peanuts...yeah, its pretty intense! One of the side effects to these allergies is that my face breaks out in sort of a rash type thing and stays that way for about a week. Its not really acne, but it kind of looks that way. Does anyone know why that happens? Or know of a supplement I could take to get suppress my allergies maybe?

If you are truly allergic to those foods STOP eating them. Your reaction may be mild acne now, but the next reaction could be trouble breathing and critical. That is the only way to keep from reacting. And yes your reaction could get worse. Mine did. I'm allergic to corn, soy, milk, tree nuts, ground nuts, crab, tomatoes, lima beans... The list goes on and on. I carry an EpiPen to treat myself if I accidently eat the wrong thing.
