My nose is always stuffed up?

Why is my nose always stuffed up?

• I have a chronic stuffed nose. Sometimes both nostrils are stuffed but usually only one. Strangely, at any given time they will switch from stuffy to clear out of nowhere. I can have my left nostril stuffed with the right one clear and next thing I know it's the opposite, my right stuffed and my left clear. What can possibly make that happen? I thought maybe I have an allergy but I never have a runny nose, sneeze, or watery eyes. I do notice there are very brief periods that last only seconds (usually when working out) where both nostrils get clear and my vision gets incredibly clear and sharp, even though I already have 20/20 vision. Thanks for any help.

  deviated septum. I have one and my nostrils, although clearer at different times, are neve rcompletely "clear" its quite annoying
