What is in Captain Morgan's causing an allergic reaction?

I would guess one or more of the spices in the rum--many spices can cause allergic reactions. Remember, each time you are exposed to an allergen (one that you are allergic to) the reaction INCREASES. You are already having some pretty severe reactions--quit using yourself as a guinea pig. You experience a fatal reaction!!! Stay away from your beloved C. Morgan, try and determine what spices are in it, and avoid those spices in ALL foods. Don't think it can't happen!!! My daughter had a bad reaction to a food dye, and years later got the same type of reaction from one of those long freeze pops she got at a gas station. (C-store) She's lucky she was close to Benadryl and recognized what was going on. The first time she had a food dye reaction, everything on her body swoll up--it looked like twisted burns--she had to have a double adult dose of epinephrine and the reaction went on for more than 2 weeks. She had to take very cool baths as warm or hot water on her body could have spiked the reaction and could have made it peak.
