Can you really be allergic to EVERYTHING?

Am I really allergic to everything or?

  • I am, indeed, allergic to a good many of things but I think I may have figured something out. I have my upper-ear pierced and no matter what earring I use from nickel to silver to pure gold, it's always absolutely excruciating and is always infected and I've had it pierced for over a year now. Now I'm wondering is it just that my body rejects piercings? Or, considering I'm allergic to most things in nature, am I just allergic to everything I've put in my ear thus far? (I know I'm allergic to silver)

  • Answer:

I hear you say, "I am, indeed, allergic to a good many things ........" It is also clear that you are allergic to silver. As for other things, I am not sure. Here are some signs and symptoms of allergies to help you identify allergies. If you are strongly allergic to a substance you WILL get hives, generalized itch, elevated respiratory rate and an elevated heart rate. Local irritation wil occur upon contact with the skin. If you do not experience these symptoms then you are not allergic to the said substance.
