How can I treat my allergies and post-nasal drip without taking medications?

I moved from Australia to Chicago a couple of months ago and my allergies have really been acting up. my doctor wants me to take Zyrtec but it makes me drowsy. Is there anything I can do that doesn't involve taking meds? I'm 17 and healthy besides the allergies.

I don't know of any treatment that doesn't involve meds but some are supposed to be "non drowsy".
