Why do I get a lot of nosebleeds?

  • I always get a lot of nosebleeds around winter/summer, and I was wondering how I could possibly prevent them? They get really irratating, especially because they happen for seemingly no reason. I already know how to top them quickly, I was just wondering if there is any way to prevent them.

  • Answer:

low iron or antiinflammatory medications you may be more prone to nose bleeding. I'm leaning towards Low Iron.

I've suffered from frequent nosebleeds my entire life. For me, my blood vessels inside my nose are simply too close to the surface, and thus are easily prone to damage. Often the changing of the seasons makes things worse for some reason. One of the best things you can do is to put a bit of vaseline inside your nostrils each night before bed. Use a q-tip if you need to, and be careful not to cause a nosebleed doing this! :) If doing that doesn't help, you may need to see an ENT specialist to have your nose cauterized. This is what I eventually had to do. Good luck!

You got to sleep more. I had them too because i had to study for tests and all that **** i had to stay awake. Yeah get more sleep each time and go to bed early, if doesnt help than visit a doctor
