If I get treated for cats in your allergy shots, will it affect my allergic reaction to guinea pigs/rabbits?
-
The other day I got allergy tested. I was positive for being allergic to cats, but I was negative for being allergic to rabbits, guinea pigs. But, I most definitely have reactions to these animals, almost on a daily basis. I heard that if your allergic to cats, your most likely allergic to rabbits/guinea pigs... so is it possible for me to get relief from the 'cat' treatment in the allergy shot?

Answer:
It is possible. Some things are cross-reactive.
