What can I do for a scratchy throat and dry cough?

I have a dry cough and tickle in my throat, it's driving me nuts, what do I do?

• Three days ago I woke up with a burning throat, no liquid in my throat or anything, it was just burning. I couldn't really speak. Then I took some Tylenol all day and the next day it was better and I took more Tylenol but that's when I developed a cough around then. This is a tickle in my throat, right below the adams apple. I've taken Robotussin and it hasn't done anything to help it. It's driving me nuts. My throat doesn't even feel sore anymore but I still have the cough. 1. What is it? Is it Post-Nasal drip? 2. What the heck do I do to stop it? :( 3. I am not allergic to anything so please don't assume it's allergies. Thanks
