How to get rid of my fruit allergies?

Fruit Allergy!? what is it, and can i cure it?

  • Hey, ever since i was really young, I have had an allergy of lots of differant fruit, and i dont know why, because they are meant to be good for me, but whenever i explain I can't eat them, people think I'm lying. My symptoms involve: itchyness, inflamation and redness of the: Throat, tongue, mouth lips, and the soft part of the mouth at the back ((sorry, It's slipped my mind what it's called, Pallete?)) I get the allergy witht he following fruit: Apples Banana Orange Strawberries and some others, but i tend to avoid fruit now, so i dont know many others. please, someone tellme what this is, and how to cure it (if possible of course ;) ) if it helps, i have a LOT of other allergies/ailments/whatever, including Severe Eczema, Asthma, Hayfever and this strange allergy to fruit. you can try several of these antihistamines, but not at once of coarse.. prescriptions: azatadine (Optimine) cyproheptadine (Periactin) desloratadine (Clarinex) diphenhydramine (Benadryl)-allergic reactions fexofenadine (Allegra)-allergies hydroxyzine (Atarax, Vistaril) levocetirizine (Xyzal)- used mainly for rashes and itching promethazine (Phenergan) otc: cetirizine (Zyrtec) clemastine (tavist allergy) dephenhydramine (benadryl) loratadine (Claritin) i still suggest going to an allergy specialist. you can get an epipen from him incase you have a bad reaction. it can save your life
