How long does Lexapro's effect last?

I think im allergic to drinking alcohol how long will the effect last?

  • See i took a few litteraly few sips out of a margarita glass and the next day my lungs are hurting a little its the next next day and its not as bad how long will this allergic reaction last? ( i am 16 female and cannot go to the doctors D: )

    Actually, I have the same problem. If I take too large a gulp of wine, then my chest starts to hurt like crazy. I thought it was an allergic reaction too. Personally, after I had that happened to me, I was pretty scared of alcohol since. It's best that you don't drink for now. And wait until you're actually of age as well.

i dont think it is possible for someone to be allergic to alcohol. i think it is just a coincidence. maybe you are just getting a cold or something.

You are not allergic to alcohol, if you are allergic to something in general your body does not wait 24 hours to tell you. Alcohol is poison to the body, and there is a such thing as alcohol poisoning, but it would not result in the symptoms you have, or with the volume you state you consumed. It is likely you have something else which just happens to coincide with the time you consumed the alcohol. Since it has been 24 hours, feel free to visit your doctor tomorrow because whatever you consumed will be out of your system.

I don't think it will be long since you only took a few sips. I also think that you may not be allergic to alcohol in general but maybe just that certain type that you drank. But basically you seem fine but if it gets worse you need to tell your parents to take you to the doctor. I don't think lung pain is a symptom of an allergy. Did you get hives?? Hope you feel better.
