Could the mold be killing me?

MOLD IS KILLING ME! What can I do?

  • my office building has a mold problem however the owner refuses to do anything about it and I have a 2 year lease. Is there someone to call to get this place condemned so I can get out of this lease or to force the owner to fix the mold issue?

    Hi Citrus, Please pay no attention to the answer above. There are some serious potential dangers with indoor toxic mold. Its called toxic for a reason and trust me toxic is not a strong enough word to describe its horrible horrendous effects on the human body. once you have proof of the toxic mold species actually growing in your building submit it to your landord. its his responsibility to provide a safe environment for you. if he then refuses to comply any lawyer worth his salt can help you.

Mold is not killing you. Your lack of information about mold is killing you. Acquire knowledge. Acquire power. Knowledge is power. I have never known of a building, a house, a school, a hospital, a person, a kitchen, an aeroplane, a submarine etc to be mould free. What makes you think you that you can have a mold free building? What makes you think you can find another building which is mould free? No building will ever be mold free. You will find mould in your kitchen fridge too. Mould is everywhere. Get real. Stop looking for excuses to break your lease. It will not hold up in court. Your request is unreasonable. Mould is EVERYWHERE.
