Are there any allergies to birth control?

• I have had seasonal allergies since before i could remember. I have taken Zyrtec for them since 2000. But since having kids, and being on Birth control, the Zyrtec screws with my hormones...so im wondering if there some kind of allergy medicine out there that would work the same as zyrtec, but not screw with my hormones. to me, i would sometimes rather have the itchy eyes (which is the only symptom that i still have allergies) than i would be super moody. It is just these eye allergies are freakin annoying. I use drops almost all the time, but they dont really help. I have tried these allergy meds and no relief: Claritin, Singulair. I cant do nasal sprays, they do more harm than good. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated...I see my dr on Thursday and i will ask for a change in RX once i decide (and what the dr thinks) to change to.
