What kind of bug bite is hard and swollen?

Was this a bug bite? What kind of bug?

  • My boyfriend woke up this morning dizzy and vomiting. He's been feeling like this since about 5:30 a.m. He cannot move too suddenly or rapidly as he'll have to throw up again. He suspects this was some kind of bug bite, a spider bite namely. NO, he is not hung over. We didn't go out on a drinking binge, or have any alcohol last night for that matter. It's not stomach ailment either since he's not even puking anything up at this point. Just yellow gooey bile. Can anyone please help? He's not letting me or anyone else drive him to a hospital. The strangest thing is that neither he nor I can locate any evidence of a bug bite. What can this be?

    sounds like a flu or possible with the dizzyness it could be a natural gas leak. i have had that happen to me before i got weak,dizzy head aches, vomitting etc. you need to call your local energy place like a consumers energy and have them come check for a gas leak

It could be something more serious, you should get him to go to doc or ER. Some brain tumors start with this type of symptoms and it can come on quite suddenly with no warning at all. It would be better to be safe than sorry. If there's no evidence of any bug bite, I would be very concerned. Not trying to frighten you but it honestly needs to be checked, please try and talk him into it.
