Chronic Hives is a kind of skin rash notable for pale red and itchy and usually last for more than 6 weeks. I had it for almost 2 months. Tried medicine both western and chinese method but still cant cure. It comes and go never stop. Does anyone had the same experience as I am or anyone know how to cure it? Answer:
Nope, i have it too :( I have rash medicine that i take that i got from an allergist that helps a lot, so maybe u should ask ur doctor about seeing a specialist. I know it sucks it makes my life bad too, i'm allergic to NSAIDS, but we didn't link it back to them til i have 7 allergic reactions :( so now i have chronic hives, i've had mine for 2 months also, try to avoid hot showers and strawberries, they will just make them worse. Good luck and God Bless!

A significant percentage of people with chronic urticaria (hives) also have high levels of thyroid antibodies (autoimmune thyroid disease) regardless that the TSH thyroid stimulating hormone is "normal". Research shows that TPO antibodies can be lowered with 200mcg of selenium daily (vitamin E aids absorption - recommended 400 - 500IU daily) and gluten free diet lowers both antibodies. The doctor may give thyroid hormones. Recommended to have a thyroid panel - TSH, free T3, free T4 and thyroid antibodies - TPO and TgAb. >>>http://www.labtestsonline.org/understanding/analytes/thyroid_antibodies/test.html The h pylori bacteria has also been found to cause chronic hives and a course of antibiotics is needed. Other causes are allergic reactions which accounts for 5 to 10% of chronic urticaria cases from either foods and medications. Allergies with foods always appear within a few minutes to a few hours of eating that food and reactions to medications may occur after the first dose or can be for a week or two afterwards. Chronic infections, such as viral hepatitis, sinus infections and urinary tract infections, esptein barr virus (mono) can cause chronic urticaria. Liver disease and kidney disease is also associated with chronic urticaria . Evidence has been found for a link between stressful life events have been reported for a link between posttraumatic stress and chronic idiopathic urticaria. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urticaria http://thyroid.about.com/cs/relatedconditions1/l/blurticaria.htm
