What are some exercises i can do to flatten my tummy?

  • Im not fat my tummy just needs a little flattening. I need some exercises that are simple and i can do at home. Im to busy o go join a gym. Also some ways i can tone my arms and legs and butt. Thnaksss <3 (:

  • Answer:

You may want to look into an elliptical machine. It maybe quite the investment but it will surely help you not only flatten your tummy thru its cardio benefits but also help you tone your upper and lower body. Its also low impact so you have no risk of injuring the back, knees, ankles, or other joints. But the true investment comes in the time you spent regardless if your going to use a machine, go to the gym or just do some exercises. best look into really investing your time to get the results you want including the determination and will power to do it. You can do it.

Run or jog Do sit ups I've only been doing this for a week or so, but i am seeing very impressive results already.

For your overall body,.. especially your glutes (aka: butt) -- Jogging for 30mins to an hour , at least 3 times per week is going to do the most good and be most noticeable. Jogging is going to work your entire body,.. even your chest, back, arms, etc. But will really , obviously, concentrate on your legs. The biggest muscle in your body is your Glutes,.. these are involved with every step. So as the weeks turn into months you will notice the fat loss but also muscle gain and you will get the results desired for your legs and behind. Your arms will also have some toning from just the jogging but to assist I would recommend doing the following at home. Pushups -- If you cannot do them normally, do them on your knee's, and workup over time to doing a straightlegged pushup. This will work your chest, shoulders, and triceps. (Triceps are the back of your arms, opposite your biceps). For biceps you can use any resistance.. be it a few cans of soup,.. a tool box, a bucket, whatever you can pick up. Then do curls. There is a good calisthenics regimen at bodybuilding dot com and I recommend you take a look. The article is rather long.. so if you want to skip alot of reading skip down to the 'suggested exercises'. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/becker20.htm As for abs, you can train them just about everyday and no overtrain, however I would recommend training them 5 times a week.. with a day off every few days of training. If you can get one of those pull up bars that mounts in your door frame. (No hardware, screws, bolts, or holes required -- it just slips up into it.. trust me. ) Go to walmart, or better yet academy sports, or other type of store you will find them. You can use this for pullups, but also your abs. The best ab workouts are from hanging positions. You can then hang from this (it comes with harnesses that hold you up easily.. and you can lift your knee's at first, then as you become stronger your legs. You will build an extremely strong core with this type of exercise. It doesn't hurt your back, is almost fun, and is much more effective than situps/crunches. IE: 10 leg raises is easily more effective than 30 crunches on the ground. Just so you aren't confused, here is an example directly from walmart for 20 dollars for the chinup bar -- http://www.walmart.com/ip/Iron-Gym-Xtreme-Workout-Bar/13032424?sourceid=1500000000000003260410&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=13032424 Take care,
