How does lime juice preserve an apple?

Clear liquid diet for colonocopy prep...is it okay to drink Langers apple orange pineapple?

• I am only a clear liquid diet. I will read you the listed things I can only drink/eat Beverages Soft drinks- Orange,ginger ale, cola, sprite,7-up Gatorade. strained fruit juices with OUT pulp...apple juice,white grape juice, lemonade Water,Tea or coffee [no milk or non dairy creamer] fat free, low sodium chicken or beef broth Desserts.....hard candies,jello-lemon,lime, or orange..NO fruit toppings Popsicles,Italian ice but No sherbert or fruit bars! So pretty much any clear liquid besides the color RED or PURPLE I have a ton of Langers apple orange pineapple & apple kiwi strawberry? Would that be okay to drink? I don't really have much money to go buy diff types of juice. Thanks

  Strain the juice. when in doubt, call the office as per instructions. Just did it. I had called with several questions for clarification. Not that bad as far as the eating. No food or drink on the day of.. Call en re medication. I was told to take after the procedure. The strawberry is red, don't take that. Red, purple..no. Apple juice, generic is cheap. Make a few bowls of the jello. Drink water. After you take the medication for the colon cleanse, you probably won't be eating anything, even the jello, as your digestive tract must be cleared and only liquid that is a little muddy looking can run out after evacuation. I suggest you call the office, as you don't seem clear on what is occurring. As I did it twice, I think I have it mastered. As far as money, buy generic or go to a big box, warehouse type store. It would be worse to err, and then, confound the test results.
