What workouts are unsafe to do at a young age?

What workouts can and should i do for my age and size? please answer...?

  • I'm 16 going on seventeen I'm 5'8 and 280. I was wondering what kind of indoor workouts can I do.? And I have a HUGE problem (no pun intended) with over eating what can I do about it I have like 2% will power I can last the morning but at nite around 6 and later ill just eat. . . What can I do? Please help. Thank you..:-)

    If your tryIng to loose weight and tone up I would try to condition your self a little first then do P90x. I am also 17 years old and did it over this past summer. It was a great program to get in shape. And now that the p90x 2 has come out the fist is cheaper. For the eating part try eatin MORE smaller meals throughout the day. About five to six.

I was like that too before i would over eat with cake, tortillas, soda, candy, chips and all that trash. What i did was i realized i was overweight&decided to lose weight. I started motivating myself to stop eating that crap. Everytime i would want chips or a brownie i would get a fruit or a yoghurt it satisfied my craving. Thats1 easy tip. 2nd- i stopped drinking soft drinks and sweets..another tip 3- I moved more i would exercise i started off by joining a gym and running around my neighborhood. You can start running a mile everyday then do 2 after like that. Dont force ur body. If u ate 3000 cal daily cut it down to 1700 then 1500 cal ur body will drop fat like crazy! DONT STARVE! IT WILL keep u away from losing weight. Start off by eating a well balanced meal for breakfast like a cup of oatmeal wit fruit and milk or toast with peanut butter and jelly...for lunch have a tuna sandwich (no mayo), or some eggs and a toast(any style) with spinach or any kind of vegy for dinner have a salad wit chicken or me

u need to start eating healthy and get more physical activity. Given your mental state it would be hard to do alone so i would suggest talking to a personal trainer or dietitian to help you. Good luck and dont give up!
