How can i be more motivated?

How can I keep myself motivated and happy while I try to kick the habit of over-eating?

  • I'll try to keep this short and sweet: - I snack A LOT and I also eat too many desserts. Overall, I want to kick that unhealthy habit, and start eating for the sake of fueling my body when it requests food (IE: eating only when you're hungry.) - I figured I'd go 21 days straight, to kick the habit, of eating only when I'm hungry. Today failed, I binged, and I over snacked during the day. I noticed when I kept myself from eating something I wanted, I got frustrated and unhappy. Things didn't seem so happy and great once I told myself "no. You cannot have that." - When I binged, it was like I completely forgot what my goal was. It's like sometimes I become so mindless when I begin to snack/eat foods I'm not supposed to. My question is: How do I address these problems? How can I stop eating mindlessly? How do I keep my mood up when I tell myself "no"? What tips can you give me to help me do better tommarow?
