How many calories does an average 15-year-old burn in a day?

How many calories should i consume per day & how many calories to burn per day to loose 20 pounds in 1 month?

  • i am a 23 year old female. ht - 5'3", wt - 143 pounds. i am into a desk job. i have just began excercising on the treadmill for 10 mins. i need to know how much calories do i need to burn only on the treadmill & how much calories do i need to consume for calorie deficit & what should be the calorie deficit in my case. My B.M.I. = 25.3 & B.M.R = 1763 & currently i have devised a diet plan of 800 calories per day. is it ok? & with my daily consumption of 800 calories have much do i have to burn per day to reduce 20 pounds in 1 month.

    Have you talked to a doctor or nutritionist about your plan? For your characteristics, 20 pounds in one month doesn't sound like a good idea. Losing more than 3 pounds per week, and a diet under 1000 calories/day is usually not considered healthy.
