SIZE ZERO DEBATE - What is your opinion?

Size 0 6 foot models If you saw one in real life you would see the problem :-/

It's because whenever you hear about size zeros from the media, it's usually from anorexic stars like Nicole Richie. If you say you are a 0, people right away think that you are anorexic. But if those people can clearly see that you are short and thin, then being a size zero shouldn't shock them. Being a 0 is nothing to worry about, I mean if you are tall and muscular you could be a size 10 and still be healthy and not overweight, it just depends on your body shape basically. Don't worry about it! I'm a size 3 or 5 in jeans and people think it's weird, but I'm tall and skinny, not anorexic, I think anorexia is gross and weird no offense! Oh and the media makes it a big deal because it's like ooh a celeb is a size zero, anorexic! Hope this helps! Also, I am 5 feet, 6 and 3/4 inches, and weight 118. Just in case that helps with my jean size or anything lol.

As long as your healthy and feel good about yourself = don't worry about it. I wear a size 8 and when I mention to coworkers I want to loose few pounds they look at me like I'm crazy ..... Size 0 - I Say Good For You!!!

You have it wrong, size zero is fad that has been linked with anorexia. If you eat healthy and are still a size zero, its not you they are worried about; its the models that weigh 80 pounds. Hope I could help :) Sorry if the first 4 words sounded mean.

It has become such a big deal because those who do not wear a zero, and should not wear a zero, but want to wear a zero are taking part in crazy diets, taking crazy drugs, and doing idiotic things to wear a size zero. Many people are wanting things they cannot have. If you can have it, and still be healthy, good for you. You have the envy of many!

I don't know. I know a few size zero girls, and they don't look it. I guess, to me, size zero makes it sounds like you don't exist. I mean, if your a zero, then there's nothing to you. I think it's just the fact that it is called size ZERO.

Because it's associated with being underweight. Blame the media for portraying anorexic celebs with the headline 'size 0 celebs' or the fact that they retailers need to call a set of measurements size 00 or 0....it's all because of vanity sizing and they are running out of numbers!

Same here, I'm 5'4 and 105 lb and have really muscular legs from dancing. I'm usually a size 0, sometimes a 1. I've never fit into a 3. I've never understood why people think that's unhealthy, but it maybe they're talking about taller people who are size 0?
