How do you avoid saggy skin during and after weight loss?

Loose skin after weight loss (teenager)?

  • I was a little overweight for about 7 years when i was younger. When I was 15 I suddenly lost about 30 pounds( maybe 40Ib I haden't weighed myself since I was 13), the weight loss happened really quick like over a matter of maybe 2 or 3 weeks, I attribute this to puberty since at the same time I had gotten taller and when it happened I haden't changed my eating habits and I wasn't doing any exercise. So anyway the next time I weighed myself after I turned 16 I weighed 151Ib down from 180-90 when I was 15. I have since changed my eating habits and eat healthier and exercise more(cardio, leg lifts, pushups, situps, lunges) while I have gained some pretty good muscle in my stomach chest( after having man boobs for 5 years) and legs, I still seem to have what appears to be loose skin around my stomach, thighs and chest. It has been a year and 7 months since I lost the weight and I have stayed the same weight since then(151) but no matter what I do my loose skin just won't go back, although I have noticed a little bit of retraction over the past year and a half. I'm 17 now and 6 ft tall. Is there anything I can do to tighten the loose skin before resorting to possibly surgery? Please give me any answers you have and feel free to share any similar experiences and what you did. And sorry the description is so long. Thanks in advance.
