How do I get in better shape?

  • I'm joining Track & gymnastics in 2 years, and I just wanted to know how to get in better shape for them. I'm supposedly the fittest girl in my PE class, and I've been that way for a while. My upper-body strength sucks(well, not really), but I run fast. I can do the max number of push-ups required to do, but the last push-up, I get tired.So I won't lie, I'm fat. And I know it. But that's why I'm asking. I'm 5 feet and 3 inches, weighing at 145-150 (idk, it's random). Only my head, arms, and hands seem out of proportion, like they're smaller. My legs, thighs, and stomach seem large, not a lot though. I'm joining track and field 'cause I need to get faster for special events. I'm joining gymnastics 'cause I used to Bboy and I want to get better upper-body strength.Yeah, I know I that I could get faster/be a better Bboyer if I just trained at home/outside, but if I did that, then what's the whole point of joining if that's what I'm going there to do? So,how'm I gonna get in better shape?

    this is what i did. i ran from my house until i got absolutly tired, then tried my best to run back. i did that everyday and after a little while i could run about 4 or 5 miles. track is a really good way to get in shape and it's really fun too!

Eat well but only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. To have more satisfaction out of ur food, Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will also activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals. Do not go on fast or starvation diet. Nothing other than water in between. No special diet, call it by any name or program helps as one cannot adopt them on permanent basis. Diet pills are chemicals and per se bad and shud be avoided unless the doc considers it necessary looking at ur condition. Take light exercises and brisk walks for 30 min.regularly preferably on empty stomach and twice a day. U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time and hassle free. Be patient and not in a hurry. U cannot choose spots for reduction. This schedule can be adopted on permanent basis to lead a healthy life and maintain weight.
