    I don't know whether this will help but... I used to be a size 14 and I'm only short so that's quite bit really, well I was overweight according to my BMA and I went on this "diet" and it worked, I'm a size 6/8 now and I'm a healthy weight. It's not really a typical diet, what I did was just ate when I was hungry.. and it sounds obvious but it's actually not because most people reach for a snack when there bored.. well just don't do that! and at meal times, have smaller meals, just eat until you stop feeling hungry, so eat slow so that your body has time to absorb the food and stop sending hungriness signals to your brain (you can tell I'm no scientist haha). So Don't starve yourself, just eat the minimum that your body needs, that's what I did :) By the way, i'm english so the sizes may be different to yours, I think an english size 4 is american size zero, and now I'm just one size up from that, so I'm pretty thin!

my friend and his dad tried it, they lost ALOT of weight, like I soulndt tell you the exact numbers, but it was dramatic be really careful though

just eat less (if you eat too much), eat organic (if your diet is crap), and exercise regularly. THAT is the best diet you can go on.

Diets are all bad for you. Its just get rich quick schemes to get you to buy stuff and have no result to the user. I Lost 70lbs by reducing my calorie intake and eating more fruits veggies, cutting out sweets and soda completely. Reducing your calorie intake and exercising will show TRUE results.

none of these are good for the long run try counting calories like 1500 a day is good and should loose about 1kg or more a week and keep it off and still be happy

Read the book "Skinny *****". It's definitely worth your while. Fad diets never work, anyways, you'll just regain the weight because they are impossible to stick to.

Workout DVDs and eating a sensible diet. Didn't completely stop eating what I love, but I ate it very sparingly. Eating less + some type of work out= weight loss. Dance, swim, play basketball, soccer, volleyball, walk, run, etc. Do whatever makes your body move to lose weight and tone up at the same time.
