What can I eat to lose weight!!!! please read?

Hi there please I need some advice Im 22 years old female, 5"4 and weigh about 220 pounds I gained it all during the past year and a half due to some stress I was going through and well eating made me feel better and I mean I ate a lot! before that I kept a weight from 160-165 which I was fine with. I want to lose weight and I have no clue on what to eat to lose weight i was thinking that I will work out 1.5 hours everyday and planning a menu that goes something like this breakfast_ egg whites, slice of w.wheat toast and cofee lunch_ turkey sandwitch on w. wheat with some steamed brocolli dinner_ chicken breast salad with some fat free dressing snacks_ fat free yogurt or apple 1 gallon of water a day and green tea If I eat like this will I lose weight? or any advice would be appreciated I cant afford to go to a dietitian , trainer etc . cause Im low on funds : ( srious replies only! thankyou

It sounds like a great diet, just be sure to not skimp on food too soon, as this will leave your body deprived and you will feel lethargic. gradually cut down on the amount of food you eat (and what you eat). The workout plan sounds good. good luckkkk!
diets simply don't work if you lose you will gain it back,The only way to lose is to cut back eat less portions and it is hard.Try using a salad plate.Drink a full glass of water before you eat to fill up.Try some type of exercise.Dancing in the privacy of your home is good.A gallon is too much.64 oz is enough.Try crystal light for drinks,green diet tea.If you feel hungry between meals then munch on fruit,carrots or just go take a walk.Good Luck to you

a gallon of water a day maybe a bit much. maybe a couple of cups. try no sugar sweets if you wanna eat sweet stuff. that sounds good what you are currently doing. don't gorge on tea. tea ain't good for your kidneys.
