How to build muscle quickly?

How do i build muscle, and how quickly could i gain 4 stone?

  • i am an ectomorph, 6 ft 3' and 9.5 stone, i want to gain 4 stone to achieve my target of 13 stone by september. i know all about nutrition, this is what i want to know, what weight training program should i use and how long should i use it until my muscles stop gaining mass? which program should i use after this? please take into consideration that i have free weights, not machines. thanks and i hope you can give my the relevent information.

    well because you are a beginner you will achieve faster gains in a couple of months, later it will stagnate a little. if you weight train intensely, eat well, and rest well you can probably gain up to 2 pounds of muscle per month. Usually hard gainers gaine about 10 pounds a year. You need to focus allot on the squat, bench, and dead lift. focus on intensity and poundage progression. if you are bench pressing 135 pounds for a good 10 reps, live to add another 5 or 10. also remember to use good form at all cost. i can give you 2 great resources. 1. go to this website and check his workouts scobyworkshop.com and i really recommend that you check this book called beyond brawn by stuart mcrobert. in fact i don't recommend any average beginner to lift a weight without reading this book. you can check it out on amazon like for 20 dollars.
