Advice On Becoming a Dental Assistant?

Hi everyone, I would like some advice on becoming a dental assistant. Im currently looking into a program that requires 2 months of hands on courses and a 360 hour internship. I went to my personal dentist office today and asked them if an internship there would be ok, they all seem very nice and understanding people. I have heard a lot of negative comments about dental assisting, and I would not like anyone to talk bad about the field. Please answer professionally and give me some great advice. I am aware that I need to become certified in dental assisting and radiology in order to make more money. I would like to know peoples experiences, thanks :)

only do it if you think you will enjoy giving the happy endings to customers, it is now the norm to do so. and you will usually be expected to swallow
