Get rid of cold sore/ canker sore fast?

  • My boyfriend wants to kiss but I have a canker sore or a cold sore on the outer corner of my lip. Its very painful as well. Hurts to open my mouth. How do I get rid of it fast?

    Well I am just getting over one as well... What I did was right when I started to feel it come in I used Herpecin-L and put that on my lips every hour for maybe 3 days then when it started to get crusty and peel and scab up I bought some Carmex(that comes in the little jar not the tube) and been putting that on and its healing up quite well. Just keep using Carmex until it is completely healed. Carmex stings a little bit but it does work. Believe me my lip was all swollen and big when I was using the Herpecin-L and it worked when I used it every hour til it started to scab and peel and get all crusty.
