I have a chipped molar?

After I finished my taco, I felt a sharpness in my lower left molar. I thought that it was part of the taco shell. The sharpness won't go away. Then, I realized that my lower left molar was chipped, but not to bad. It's pretty sharp. What should I do? Ask my dentist to see if he can repair it? Or how did my tooth get chipped? NOTE: MY LOWER LEFT MOLAR WAS FINE BEFORE I ATE THE TACO. COULD THIS MEAN THAT I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH CALCIUM?
