Do i really need braces or will invisalign work?

  • So my dentist says i need braces, just for my top row of teeth, i asked him if invisalign would work and he REALLY seemed to prefer braces, and the only reason he gave was that braces would give the best results. Like he seenes really anti-invisalign i dunno why like does he get payed more for braces or what. but yaa my top row of teeth are PERFECt excwpt for just one at the front that is just slightly crooked, and my bottom row of tweth are pretty straight So invisalugn or braces? My only problem with braces is that ill look a little weird in them

    If you get brace, then you may feel weird for a few day then later you won't even know you have brace on already. Invisalign take longer than brace. If get invisalign then need to wait for 6 week to 2 month to have it made. Brace are quick in just 2 or 3 days to have it ready.

Where did you get the impression that Invisalign were cheaper than braces? You don't have to have "metal mouth" with braces. Some of the newest ones are "nearly" invisible. I believe they're made of a clear material. My understanding of Invisalign is that several will have to be made over the length of your adjustments.

Braces are fine. I went through considering all the options with braces and freaking out over looking bad but now that I've had them in for a couple months I'm used to them and they're fine. I've actually had comments that I looked cute WITH them. If your dentists suggests braces then you should get them..
