Metal taste in mouth?

Metal/Blood Taste In My Mouth?

  • about 7 weeks ago i noticed a strong metal taste in my mouth..so i gave it a week and when it didn't go away i went to the dr and he looked in m mouth and it looked fine so he did blood work and it came back fine..so i went to the dentist and he said he KNOWS that im tasting it because i have gingivitis and he also noticed a small lil white dot on my gum that he said could be pre cancerous and that i should stop smoking....so i did...and so i waited and waited and then i went to an oral surgeon and he looked in my mouth and said that the lil white dot was nothing and i had nothing to worry about...so i waited and waited and then i started to get a sore throat and i noticed my ear and my jaw hurt so i went to the dr again 3 days ago and he said that it didn't b4 but now it looks like oral thrush so he gave me some prescription mouthwash and told me it should go away in a few days...then i went home and i tried the mouth wash for a couple of days and then yesterday i said F*** IT! ad went to the emergency room and they took 5 viles of my blood....a urine sample and gave me a head and throat cat scan and a chest x ray and EVERYTHING came back perfect...so i sit here....with papers and PHD Drs all telling me im fine but......I STILL have this taste in my mouth and my left jaw eye and left side of my throat is still sore WTF SHOULD I DO PLEASE HELP???

I had this taste before, sort of coppery/iron. I was deficcient in zinc in the diet. I simply took a supplement and it went. Now I do the same when it comes back. Maybe this is the problem, I dont know, but it costs little to try and cant do any harm. Dont exced the dose though

I had the same thing i only went to the dentist because i thought i had fractured my jaw and the dentist noticed a white spot ,i was sent in time to the Oral Dept in the local hospital and they cut the white spot out and when they tested it they found nothing the jaw could have been sciatica it clicks a bit now on the left side the metal taste could be the taste of a filling if you have any or the residue of some mouthwash i packed in smoking though 5 years ago ,i hope i have helped you in some way .
