Sharp pain in my tooth, help?

Bad pain in my tooth and I'm scared i might need root canal. Please HELP!?

• My front tooth has been hurting prity bad when I bite into anything. Iv had sensitive teeth for a while and use sensadine tooth past but this morning I went to bite into a begal and I got this sharp pain so I went into the bathroom and tried brushing my teeth and all my Heath were fine till I came to the one that hurt and I brush over it onece and the pain shoot in my tooth. After that I rubbed it with my finger and it didn't hurt as bad but I could feel a little pain. So I grabed a class of water and swoshed it around to see if the cooled water would hurt it but it didn't realy hurt. It seems to only hurt if I bite into somthing or rube it or if that tooth and another tooth hit each other. I thought it might be a cavity but iv had alot of then and it doesn't realy seem like one the pain is sharper. It's almost feels like what a root or nerve was out or starting to seep though or my tooth is grinding away and my nerve or root is exsposing! I'm scared I'll need root canal please help me!

  Probably just a cavity. Go see a dentist they can tell you for sure.
