How to make your own teeth whitening strips?

Dentist recommended whitening strips make my teeth ache?

  • I visited the dentist for a routine cleaning and exam, and asked about whitening my teeth and she gave me a small kit called Sheer White, and it's 20% Carbamide Peroxide. I applied them just as the user directions said, and after about 30 seconds my teeth started aching like chewing on tin foil with fillings in your mouth. As soon as I removed the strips and washed out my mouth the pain stopped. Is there a way I can get around this or use different strips that don't hurt my teeth, or at least know what the cause of the pain is?

    All the different whitening strips I've tried all did this to me. Even these whitening trys I bought you put the whitener in the tray and put them on your teeth for 5 mins a day. I stopped using whitening stuff. The whitening trays worked really fast but it's not worth decaying your teeth or getting sensitive teeth from them. Fluoride is also bad for your teeth.
