How much is invisalign?

Invisalign. how much and is it worth it?

  • my top teeth is stright and evenly spaced but 1 tooth is crooked due when i was little i had a tooth on top of that tooth and for my bottom teeth... its stright and evenly spaced except 3 of them are crooked should i get Invisalign and how much does it cost?(will my insurence cover it if im still in high school) also:: if i do get it, how long do you think i need it for??

    I'm 15 and I have invisalign and I love it. My teeth were severly messed up and I was told I was not a candidate, but I said I was either getting invisalign or nothing so they gave it a shot. I'm wearing mine for 1 1/2 years, my insurence did not cover it, and it cost me about $5,600. If you have any questions about invisalign please email me, because i'd be happy to answer them all. They do not hurt at all, you can barely feel them. 1000x's better than real braces!

i had crooked teeth and invisalign did a wonderful job. treatment runs just under $5000 (in new york city; i'm not sure if price varies by area.) insurance would not cover any part of it because it was considered cosmetic. the length of time you need it for depends on the position of your teeth and what you want your end result to be.

Invisalign is mostly used to correct gaps, not crooked teeth. I had some rotated teeth & was told I was not a candidate. And I've heard they take longer than traditional braces. Dental insurance will cover braces, but I don't know about invisalign because they might consider that cosmetic.

Honestly I've heard that it's as uncomfortable or moreso than regular braces. They also take longer to move your teeth. I would just go with the regular ones because you will be able to move them into place quicker and then have perfect teeth.
