Gingivitis and braces?

How to cure bad gingivitis?

  • I got braces on over 6 months ago and although I brush twice a day I have very bad gingivitis. It's to the point where I can't even lightly scratch my gums iwhtout them bleeding. I'm going to consult with my dentist but I'd like to know some thing I can do at home or some products I can buy to help cure it in the mean time.

  • Answer:

In bad stages of gingivitis it is best to go to the dentist ASAP they will allow you to get an early appointment also, at lower stages use listerine 2-3 times a day and brush, floss like you were supposed to in the first place 3 minute brushing floss between all teeth and behind the ones in the back. Gingivitis can cause teeth to fall out.
